Crash Logs

From my view it’s 99.9% TvH or EPG related

  1. If it possible in your configuration try IPTV simple Client for tests… and disable both TvH Client and server.
  2. If step 1 is not possible then try:
2.1 disable and enable TvH client several times with some pause to check if this action crash kodi
2.2 force update epg several times
2.3 increase update interval for epg updates for 1 day for example… and test again

Step (1) is not possible so I tried all of the options in step (2).

2.1 - Did this about 20 times and no crash log was created.
2.2 - Forced OTA EPG update about 14 times via TvH Server backend and no crash logs.
2.3 - The EPG update times are fixed for every 12 hours.

So if they were causing an issue I would have expected the crashes at 0204 or 1404 times.

EPG updates from the backend are done every 120 mins:

I reduced this down to 15mins, the minimum, and in 12 hours not one crash.

I was using a USB tuner and with all the issues with the N2 USB ports I installed an HDHomeRun and disconnected the USB tuner. Crashes are still happening.

Maybe it’s not TvH/EPG related?

Thoughts?

Well, I think I can say the crashes are due to the TvH Client as I have disabled it when the N2 is not in use and for several days now I’ve had no crashes.

So what’s my next step?
