This is a very weird bug and I only noticed it because I like to be entertained while doing stuff 
Steps to reproduce:
- Play any music (mine is coming from an NFS share if that is important)
- Enter SYSTEM -> CoreElec while music is playing
- Instant Freeze/Crash
