Yeah, i turn it off sometimes to get the HDR10plus above the DV. This, when video got both.
Got a Samsung tv. Thats why i do that.

Oh you want to prioritize the HDR10+ in DV/HDR10+ videos. Considering all the HDR/DV options cpm added to his build for TV’s like Samsungs without DV, it may be worth asking him to implement an option that prioritizes HDR10+ over DV in videos containing both. I assume that would be the preferred static option for anyone using cpm’s build on a TV without DV support?

Modded for the @cpm A8 build
Playerprocessinfo button in the Video OSD.
Reworked the dv/hdr infos, the subtitle/lang teil, and added some values.
I’v redesigned the ppinfo, the new bg’s match to the skin better.
Two parts, when the processinfo open, left/right to toggle.
See in the pictures.

I really like those DV symbols/icons. I woulld love to see some of those in the Arctic Zephyr - Reloaded skin. Maybe @jamal2367 is willing to build them into his cpm mod of the skin?
This will not happen at the moment.
I have kept it very minimalist and clean in terms of design.

Updated Plextuary for A8 (4.0.0-pm4k1.3cpmA8).
@cpm two things I’ve noticed:
- you’ve added two image assets without rebuilding the textures xbt (I’ve just kept them, you probably already know)
- the en_GB strings.po is “invalid”:

another idea:
My Sony TV has no option to show the conent symbol like the LG does. Those LG’s show the DV/HDR symbols for a few seconds at the beginning of the movie in the top corner of the screen. Maybe that’s something you coud implement, too?

I had imagined that it would be visible when the VideoOSD or the PlayerProcessInfo is open.
If the VideoOSD or the PlayerProcessInfo is closed, then the icons are also gone.
I can’t promise anything.
At least it works in the PlayerProcessInfo. I’ll have to see if it works with the VideoOSD too.
