DTS problems

Hello everyone,
I’m having audio playback problems with my DTS films, despite countless attempts I haven’t found a solution… I Hope someone can help me
All my DTS HDMA movies work fine.

On my TV, if I set:

  - Digital audio output on "Pass Throught"+ eArc enabled : I have DTS:X but my DTS HRA or High Res films have no sound

  - Digital audio output on "Pass Throught"+ eArc disabled : I no longer have DTS:X but my DTS HRA or High Res films have sound 

   - Digital audio output on "auto" + eArc or no: I no longer have DTS:X but my DTS HRA or High Res films have sound

I really don’t know how to find a setting that would allow me to have everything…
And I don’t understand the cause of the problem
My equipment: LG G4 TV + LG S95TR Soundbar Ugoos am6b+, latest version of Coreelec, audio on passthrought, TV on “bypass”
Ugoos–>TV–>soundbar

Because LG’s new TVs can’t pass through DTS soundtracks, you should Ugoos->soundbar->TV

Thanks, I’ll try. But it’s surprising because the G4 is normally capable of transmitting DTS in passthrought, moreover it works for DTS:X and DTS-HD MA but not for DTS HRA which is supposed to be a less elaborate DTS

I just tried by connecting directly to my soundbar: Same, no sound for my DTS-HD HRA films…
Is it possible that my soundbar is not compatible with this particular format (even if DTS:X and DTS-HD MA OK)?

On the other hand, if I play a film with the media player of my Xbox I have sound in DTS-HD HRA, is it possible that this is a compatibility problem between Kodi and my soundbar?
I’m lost …

Wrong, old LG’s GX, G1, G2 did not support DTS; new ones, G3 and G4 support DTS.

I’d expect DTS-HD HR to fall back to regular DTS in case support is missing. But you never know…

I think my G3 still can’t handle HRA while other DTS format are OK.

You are right, DTS-HD HighResolutionAudio is not supported, only MasterAudio.
