Eithernet address is 169.254.212.190 why dont it match

shouldn’t it match all my other network starting with 192.168.0.???

It should.

No, read this http://packetlife.net/blog/2008/sep/24/169-254-0-0-addresses-explained/

I know that but how do i fix

Don’t use DHCP. Set box IP manually, preferably outside your routers DHCP range.

try that it wont save not sure i am setting it right if i go wireless i get the 192 and can putty in still cant see the box on my windows network

I remember getting this when my DTB wast not quite the correct one.

Yep, most likely a DTB problem.

Had same issue, I tried a combination of things so not 100% sure what worked.

Set on router range to max out at 250, then set manual to let’s say 254. Gateway to your router get the netmask to be the same, most likely 255.255.255.0

Then on my box which is a Dune HD Pro Vision 4k, I used the android app and did a first reboot again. It didn’t boot, powered off and reboot into dune HD os, then android app, normal reboot.

I think the main issue was not having the Ethernet plugged in when I did my initial “first reboot.

It’s almost like it checks for hardware on that first reboot and if it’s not connected to Ethernet it won’t load it, probably something with the dtb.html.

Also, contrary to what you would think, for 4k bd dv 7 FEL rips, you want to go to settings-services-cache, turn it off and set cluster to 1mb. Got rid of my studdering.
