Hi friends. I had my emby server working in my s912 kiii and today I have had the amazing idea to update to v4, which is in the repository too.
First, I deleted my emby v3 cause It doesn’t update. Now I can’t update to v4 neither install v3 again .
I think is a problem with the dot net tool. I tried installing manually, downloading the addons in zip format. But it’s impossible, it remains at 50%…
What can I do? I think I can’t make a downgrade cause there aren’t old openelecs in the server. Thank you.
Solved.
I downloaded the emby server4 in zip version, then I copied to my addons folder. I rebooted, go to the addons, emby and I enabled it.
I hope this help somebody.

I thought there was only emby client add ons for kodi
I installed the Emby plugin. During use, there are no movies in the Movies section, but there are TV shows in the TV Shows section. Did I make any setup mistakes that caused this issue? Please help, everyone. If you know the solution, please let me know. Thanks a lot! I’m using the latest beta version of the Emby plugin.
There was a similar problem with Movies not appearing in the Kodi Jellyfin addon with Kodi22. Maybe Emby needs a similar fix.
Had the same problem with newer boxes like 905X5 and X5M.
DL the newest file in public testing (back then it was build x11) which are called “next-gen” and with one of these plugins Emby works like charm.
Think the stable and the beta from the main directory are for NG builds of Kodi. But thats only a guess.
And the first scan take a looooonger time since the stable (old) one. But after that, all works fine and my S905X5 and the X5M. 
The x12 version is installed and working properly.
