Hello, I have just updated (copying via Samba from my Windows pc the tar file CoreELEC-S905.arm-8.90.5.tar to ‘update’ folder, as usual) on my S905 box. Previous build was LibreELEC 8.90.3.
But on reboot, on screen appears the following error:
“Error in mount_flash: mount_common: could not mount LABEL=COREELEC”.
In another thread I read that the problem could be that the storage partition changed its label from LIBREELEC_DISK to STORAGE between LibreELEC and CoreELEC. Unfortunately now I have no more access to my device via Samba. How can i fix this?
Thanks adamg for your fast reply!
It’s strange, in the past I have updated my LE build 8.90.3 to CE 8.90.0 (or 8.90.1, I don’t remember), but without this boot problem (obviously in this case my remote don’t work and I returned to my previous LE 8.90.3).
Now I repeated the usual update procedure (tar file in ‘update’ folder) but with actual problem. Is the CE 8.90.5 so different from previous builds to cause this wrong update?
