Error on boot after update to CE 8.90.5 from LE 8.90.3

Hello, I have just updated (copying via Samba from my Windows pc the tar file CoreELEC-S905.arm-8.90.5.tar to ‘update’ folder, as usual) on my S905 box. Previous build was LibreELEC 8.90.3.
But on reboot, on screen appears the following error:
Error in mount_flash: mount_common: could not mount LABEL=COREELEC”.
In another thread I read that the problem could be that the storage partition changed its label from LIBREELEC_DISK to STORAGE between LibreELEC and CoreELEC. Unfortunately now I have no more access to my device via Samba. How can i fix this?

Thanks adamg for your fast reply!
It’s strange, in the past I have updated my LE build 8.90.3 to CE 8.90.0 (or 8.90.1, I don’t remember), but without this boot problem (obviously in this case my remote don’t work and I returned to my previous LE 8.90.3).
Now I repeated the usual update procedure (tar file in ‘update’ folder) but with actual problem. Is the CE 8.90.5 so different from previous builds to cause this wrong update?

“If you have updated from a LibreELEC build without doing a new/fresh install then no support will be given” as advised here and here
