Failed to update /lib/firmware dir

I tried the latest Amlogic-no (New Order). CoreELEC-Amlogic-no.aarch64-22.0-Piers_alpha1-Generic.img downloaded from this forum. the installation went through well . But if found out a lot of files missing in /lib/firmware. I tried to copied some files to this dir. and double chechk the copied files does reach the dest. However , after reboot , the files are all missing. the firmware dir. ( soft link to /run/kernel-overlays/firmware ) has the following attributes : drwxr-xr-x 23 root root 4660 Jan 1 1970 firmware/
I check my identity : CoreELEC:/run/kernel-overlays # whoami root

Franly speaking , I cannot figure out what is wrong . Could you please tell me is it a expected behhave ?

Your first problem is that you donโ€™t say what exactly is wrong.

This is not true

a lot of files missing in /lib/firmware

To add any missing file the correct location is /storage/.config/firmware.

And to resolve any issue the first thing is to use nightly build.

Thanks for the tips ~~~ I finally collect the firmwares and am sure everything is read
For dmesg info , please refer to : Ubuntu Pastebin
For udevadm log , please refer to : [udevadm_log - Pastebin.com]udevadm_log - Pastebin.com
Unfortunately , I didnot find the related tools ( nmcli or bluetoothctl or any NetworkManager tools . The system OS does not has any button/interface to scan wifi network either . How does the system works if user has only wifi connection please ?

Linux version 5.15.153

First thing is to check nightly where all the work is done.

bluetoothctl is available

Of course it have it: under CE settings addon. Obviosuly only works if there is wifi interface.

Works like with ethernet?

Thanks for your help  I finally found the wifi networks at the connection column

During the test , only one strange issue : If I reboot the system , all of the connections ( wifi networks ) lost. I had to disable the โ€œactiveโ€ option under the wireless networks menu,
and enable it again. After that , all of the connections appears as before. Is that any expected behavior ?

Cheer ~~

This happens by some big sometimes.
Make a new clean fresh install and it should be enabled always again on boot.
