In secend hand market 闲鱼.but before buying,u should confirm that the soc is unlocked.this way is much cheaper than buy from alibaba etc.someone in the second market 闲鱼 can do all the things for u by paid.it’s about ¥340 ,u can get a 4+32 modified box with s905x2-j/k or s905x4-ju.

First, confirm that your device is a Freebox Pop. Next, ensure that you have enabled Developer Options and ADB. Then, you can either install the ‘reboot to libreelec.apk’ or use the ADB command ‘adb update’.
important u should use the right dtb.for freebox pop is s905x2_2g.dtb

I got one of this from Xianyu model No. is SEI500BS(s905x2-j)and managed use adb installed and boot to coreelec successfully. But it couldn’t play any video no matter what size or formats. So far I tired ce-ng 20.5 21.1 also nightly version as well. The dtb file which Im using is s905x2 2g and everything work perfectly (Ethernet BT Wifi). I have no idea how to fix it. I also tested with android version kodi and turned out all videos play just fine. Please help. Thank you.
Hit play button then nothing shows up. Some video is black screen and play few seconds audio. I tired h264 h265 codecs / sdr hdr dv all kinds of videos.
Ok I found the problem. I must disable “hardware acceleration amcodec” in player setting. However this will make videos hardly to play. No hardware acceleration at all.

Hi Simon, thanks for your answer and help. I have a Freebox pop too and i have enabled the developer mode and usb debugging. But i tried to boot with coreelec in usb stick my tv stuck in black screen (bootloop)… I use “g12a_s905x2_2g.dtb” renamed by “dtb.img”
check if the file name is dtb.img.img
as what you post，it implied that you didn’t use reboot_to_coreelec.apk
The file name is “dtb.img”. But, i tried with a microSD card and now my tv stuck on blackscreen without bootloop. My Freebox Pop is not rooted (secure boot ON) and not possible to access to bootloader mode. I have a all files a previous firmware (boot.img/bootloader.img/etc…) but I don’t know how to root the device for use CoreELEC…
I use reboot_to_coreelec.apk from box but still blackscreen… 
I try to bootloader unlock my box (Freebox pop has lock the multiboot/boot on usb or sd). I got various files (01_dtbdump_Amlogic.dtb, dts1, boot.bin, bootloader.bin, dtb.bin, dtbo.bin).
I’m still looking for a way to run coreelec on this one. I think you really need to unlock the bootloader.
I have never encountered this issue before, and I’m sorry I can’t provide more assistance.
