Have you noticed an improvements in temperatures with this thermal pad mod? I’m getting some really high temperatures on my device and was hoping for a solution.
How do you open this thing anyhow? Screws under the rubber feet?

I just bought RSHTECH ST07C and couldn’t make it work on it.

Dune box here, usb hub working fine, both dc feed and none dc feed version

Remember if you plug too many hdd to the hub, the box will have not enough power to feed the hub and it will not reserve power for other usb port also (with use for CoreElec). Then you cannot boot to CE.

maybe a dumb question. But how does the dual boot process work?
1.boot into android
2. plug the usb media in
3. adb reboot → coreelec
How do i get back to android?
Is there a “WAF” friendly way to switch between stock android TV and coreELEC?
vpeter wrote one script, with that can you use one of your button, to reboot to android.
Here is.the solution
From android to coreelec, you can use long press to off button to reboot.
Isn’t there menu in Kodi Reboot to android or something like that?
@potty: When USB stick is attached it will boot to CoreELEC. Without USB stick it will boot Android. And you can boot from CoreELEC to Android from menu.
There’s the reboot from emmc/nand option in CE
Unfortunately dual boot and WAF will never get along with each other . 
WAF is the most demanding factor in a house . 
Another bad WAF for me is when i forget to change tv input from CE to TV ,so when wife goes watching TV ,the soundbar input is stuck on HDMI instead of ARC and the only solutions are to either use the soundbar remote to switch the inputs or switch between CE and LiveTV a couple of times . 
And that’s why in my case CE is for live TV also, running from my tvh server.
Yes, agree. Its important. Thats why Im try all mediaplayer set to similar look, and the kodis same look. She can switch the tv, choose sticks or boxes. Can play all what she want. Just not the avr system

Is there any way to turn off the led on the Dune Homatics box
i have seen the link at in the instructions for Homatics LED add on and have down loaded the file from the first post but am not sure what to do with the files
i know how to smb in to the box but not sure what to do from there

Dune Homatics is similar device than just Homatics so same instructions apply.

You don’t need that file, turn led off in Coreelec settings.

According to the information in this topic, the Dune HD Homatics BOX R 4K plus has an IR receiver. But this information is also valid for the new Dune BOX that no longer has an AV output on the rear?
I ask because I’m trying to get the remote to work with IR, and despite several attempts I can’t get it to work.
I am downloading the remote.conf file and placing it in /storage/.config.
This is my first post on this forum, and the only experience I have with CoreElec is the installation on this box a week ago, so I apologize if this information is in a post, but I couldn’t find it.
