H96 Max X3 100Mbit vs. Gbit

Greetings.
I just bought a H96 Max X3 with 100Mbit ethernet. At least it was sold as such by the online shop. Using sm1_s905x3_4g boot stuck at CE screen. I was able to get it up and running using sm1_s905x3_4g_1gbit instead.
Following the thread

I got everything I find necessary such as HDMI, SPDIF passthrough to AVR, RC and VFD to work. Wireless networks are shown, but I do not use them. Bluetooth I did not test so far. Being curious I subsequently installed network tools from CE repo and consulted iperf3 about the network speed:
[ ID] Interval Transfer Bitrate Retr
[ 5] 0.00-45.00 sec 4.89 GBytes 934 Mbits/sec 0 sender
[ 5] 0.00-45.00 sec 4.89 GBytes 933 Mbits/sec receiver
If I read the results correctly ethernet connection is closer to Gbit than to 100Mbit. Nothing I am concerned of. Just curious if it is common to get an upgrade or if components of these boxes are picked randomly.

Congrats, you won the jackpot! :tada:
You will find lots of users in forum which had the opposite experience:
1GBit advertised, 100Mbit delivered.
Therefore CE always warns to buy cheap.
Or to say with Forrest Gump “H96 like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.”
