Is there a way to listen surround (from movie) with a headphones.
There ara surround headphones but the all need software for the surround effects,
so only works on windows our ps4, Xbox.
I have Coreelec installed on a android TV boxx
There was a framework to use audio effects for Kodi v17 but development has kind of halted. You would need that kind of audio processing to add effects like Dolby Headphone.
On Windows you may be able to achieve it by using DirectSound and enabling Windows’ own sound effects which include various headphone effects, if I remember correctly.

It wil give virtual surround if connect by USB but i’am not sure of Coreelec support this?
