Just read the troubleshooting guide. Sorry about that, re-posting with debug logs.
My video chain is as follow:
Homatics Box R 4k Plus → Sony XBR Z9F TV via HDMI input
Did a full fresh install and followed the guide:[Guide] Homatics Box R 4k Plus CoreELEC installation, configuration and modding
Corelelec version: https://relkai.coreelec.org/Amlogic-ne/ce-20/CoreELEC-Amlogic-ne.aarch64-20.5-Nexus_nightly_20240413-Generic.img.gz
Coreelec did boot up and fine.
However when I try to play a test video from the Kodi samples pages (Link: 1 minute HDR10+ system test - FF Pictures GmbH | Florian Friedrich ), I do not get the required fps
I have whitelisted 4K @ 60 Hz, so this should play with a stable fps.
Pressing the O button on the keyboard shows me that the video is being HW decoded and my TV supports the resolution. I have tried playing other supported formats with the same issue. I even tried watching live tv and I still cant get the proper frame rate.
I have tired pressing the alt+o button and I see drop frames =0.
To troubleshoot I replaced the Homatics box with a fire stick 4k max running kodi v21 and the issue is resolved.
I loaded libreelec 12 on my 10 year old AMD laptop and everything works fine. I get the proper fps.
Then I tried loading libreelec 12 on my RPI 4B model and I get the same issue as the Homatics running Coreelec. Weird, see pics below
Any suggestions?
