I’ve been using CE 20 (originally 21 but was suggested to downgrade a while back) on this for quite a while, but after a nasty power outage this past weekend the USB file system got corrupted and I had to reinstall everything from scratch. I went with v21, since I figured it would be stable enough now.
I’ve noticed, all of a sudden, smearing on the bottom of some of my rips, where the bottom line of pixels is duplicated. I know this is apparently caused by the resolution not being a multiple of 8 - like Handbrake defaults to 804 when cropping, but when I encoded to 808 it was fine.
My issue is, I don’t recall seeing this problem before now. But, i also had an Android update I did at the same time this weekend since the box wasn’t absolutely current (I only use it for CE).
Is this an artifact of v21 vs v20, or the Android update? I have enough files I’m seeing this on that I’d rather figure out how to fix CE.
EDIT: never mind. Installed the latest v21 nightly and all is well. I assume it’s just a bug in the official released version.
My issue is when I’m playing Dolby vision content and I press backspace to return to the main menu I get a messed up image, even the navigation bar is all screwed up (see below), I believe its related to the video being played in Dolby vision and the skin is not, if I pause the video and return to the main menu the issue is resolved.
I have been using CoreELEC exclusively for the past month and it is so good in playback compared to ATV. I just have been having just a single issue with bluetooth. After waking from suspend after a long time, the bluetooth stops working on the box itself, can’t connect to remote or my buds. On CoreELEC menu, I get no bluetooth adapter found and when trying from the addon and when trying to restart bluetooth from ssh I get Bluez Failed.
Hi anyone got downloadable link for Dune Homatics Box R 4K Plus SW Version v11.8.6261 ? I m looking to downgrade from BETA ATV 12 to Stable ATV11. Or guide me how go for a stable version A12 /A11
thanks, so just plainly searching for “FEL” only gets one result there (no. 17 in the list of 4K (UltraHD) Formats), but it seems it’s not available anymore
If you are only seeing the colors , then FEL is not working , if you are also see other things thru the colors ( writings and then a movie scene) ,then FEL7 is working .
Thank you, turns out I already had the file from some time ago.
Getting back to mediainfo, can we use it to recognize FEL in the files?
Does this text tell anything about FEL, for example:
HDR format : Dolby Vision, Version 1.0, Profile 7.6, dvhe.07.06, BL+EL+RPU, no metadata compression, Blu-ray compatible / SMPTE ST 2086, Version HDR10, HDR10 compatible
And if we want to change from CE-NE to CE-NG, maybe there’s a way to migrate all our settings? or do we have to start from scratch
