How can I start and stop Kodi service from IR?

Hi,

I am using CoreELEC on an Odroid N2+. I am using my Harmony Hub to control it. Currently, Harmony Hub is able to turn the Odroid on and off using IR. But I also have server applications running on Docker on this device, so I no longer want to turn the device off. Instead, I would like it to stop the Kodi service, which would free up some RAM for server applications when Kodi is not needed. Then, I would like the wake up IR code to turn Kodi service on again. This could be done using systemctl start/stop kodi I guess, but I have no idea how to do that.

How can I start and stop Kodi service from IR ?
