The double write mode have no affect to software decoder.
So what’s the problem? The same files work fine on Kodi 21… I don’t know which version of Nightly ‘no’ started this issue; I haven’t had time to watch Disney or other sources lately, but it happens with other files too. IPTV works fine, actually. Since this is the device I use every day, I need to revert to K21 on it.

the same on clean install - not at all movies from disney - but with avengers/lilo it’s always green. Logs - the same….
Any idea? On last nightly - still the same - green lights on hyperion.

hi, i have a problem with hyperion.ng - somehow, the capturing does not work as expected. sometimes, the video gets messed up (in the capturing which leads hyperion to show wrong colors). i created wrong colors (red/blue) · Issue #1990 · hyperion-project/hyperion.ng · GitHub - anyone an idea what could cause that? can someone confirm that behaviour on another am9 system?

The YouTube add-on is mostly broken and not used by any dev anymore.
i can also reproduce that with downloading the video and playing it from inside kodi. i attached it to the bug report in hyperion.ng, its this wrong colors (red/blue) · Issue #1990 · hyperion-project/hyperion.ng · GitHub - i can upload it somewhere else if that helps. i also have the problem often with iptv, so i guess its not related to youtube but in videoplayback general.
thanks, so either its an am9 problem or a configuration problem, but i am wondering what i could mess up with the config that it behaves like that. so i believe its a problem with am9.
Should be fixed with next nightly tomorrow.

I am new here, I have been googling for this question but I have no idea…
Now i have Amazon firestick 4k max on which i run hyperion grabber and send the data to a raspberry pi in which i have hyperhdr and the ws2812b leds.
This works well with HDR files, After modifying the gamma in hyperhdr it works like a charm
Now i am thinking in buying a coreelec device (homatics 4k r plus)
With this hyperion.ng addon i would be able to do the same? I mean, capture with internal grabber the colours of a HDR video file and send them to the hyperhdr running on raspberry pi, and After gamma modification see correct colours on the leds

Hyperhdr is a fork of the original Hyperion.ng but does not support Amlogic in hardware.
So I guess yes.
After an (automatic) update of the plugin to 22.0.11.122, the Hyperion service won’t run at all anymore. I’m not sure where to find the cause in the logs, but rolling back to 22.0.10.122 (and disabling autoupdate) fixed it. This is on Piers beta 1.
Update to latest nightly. Add-ons aren’t compatible anymore with builds before 20280816.
