Install to eMMC using ceemmc

Hi there,

I’ve just installed android to eMMC to my KHADAS VIM3 and tried to install CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-20.0-Nexus to eMMC for dual. eMMC boot.

When SSH to CoreELEC i have the following…, could You help me out what am I doing wrong?

CoreELECvim3:~ # ceemmc

Starting CoreELEC eMMC installation tool...

eMMC size: 0x000747c00000 [32GB]

No CoreELEC installation found on eMMC

Install in dual boot mode, CoreELEC and Android on eMMC
  Use CoreELEC data from
[1] current used SD or USB device
[2] existing backup on current used SD or USB device

Install in single boot mode, only CoreELEC on eMMC
  Use CoreELEC data from
[3] current used SD or USB device
[4] existing backup on current used SD or USB device

Please choose one option? [1/2/3/4]: 1

Free space of 'partition CE_FLASH': 512MB
Free space of 'partition CE_STORAGE': 24126MB

Used space of '/flash': 242MB
Used space of '/storage': 7MB

There is enough free space on eMMC for installation!

Install CoreELEC on eMMC.
Continue? [y]: y
Error dtb magic: !
Could not remove node '/partitions' from dtb0!
Failed to write the new partition table to eMMC!

OwOw is not OK writing images on VIM3. USB burning tool has to be used.

Try another Android firmware version.

I did install with USB burning tool three different images. CEeMMC tool was working on all instances. Then tried again writing the latest image with owow and I had the same error as previously with ceeMMC.
Conclusion. vim3-android-9-64bit-v230130.raw.img.xz is corrupted in some aspects or owow is missing something.
So thank you. CEeMMC is working when updating VIM3 with USB Burning Tool.
