iPlayer add-on can't play anything until network is restarted

I can’t quite place for how long it’s been doing this (6 months?) but after every boot now, i need to run ip l set eth0 down && ip l set eth0 up before i can watch anything using the iPlayer add-on.

Until i do that, the iplayerwww add-on thinks that there is no network, and throws a timeout error.

Anyone else experiencing this?
