IPTV Simple client error ERROR: ffmpeg[EF9FC380] only Coreelec

Hi,

I trying to stream Tv channels from my SAT decoder and channel stream don’t start. I tried this with same config with Android and Windows and it works ok.

I config IPTV Simple client with local M3U list and i can see channel list ok but when a try to play it stucks a little bit but nothing plays. There is not error displayed.

I upload log files when i try to play back TelecincoHD channel…

Sorry my english

If you have an m3u list that works on Windows and Android, then it should work on CoreELEC. I only see three explanations for this: (1) the SAT decoder tuners are busy and none are available for CE, (2) bad configuration of the IPTV Simple client addon, and (3) bad network configuration. Check this out.

Thank you cubimol but i don’t think the issue is related to your 3 options. I think its something with CE.

I think there is something with video stream that is not supported in CE as you can seen in logs. This works ok with Android and Windows.

As I see from log you have S905X box on old 3.14 kernel
You could try to install -NG build on different USB/SD stick for test.
Some specific streams could not work on 3.14 kernel.

Thank you boot2k3 i have 2 tvboxes: this with S905x and another one with S905 with the same behaviour and i think not NG build capable.

Streams are h264 1080 but all of them are interlaced because Spanish 50i PAL standard

I’m waiting for Kodi Matrix in order to jump to NG build

You can try the ng build on your S905X device. It looks like the kernel cannot handle the type of stream the box is sending, as it does not provide any id information on the stream.

Thank you TheCoolest, will try NG build with my main TvBox S905x, that is connected to same TV like Sat decoder but i would like S905 non NG build capable device can work with this because it is at bedroom.

Regards

I don’t know what version of CE you are using. I watch the same channels as you and I have no problem with any of the CE-S905X3-ng, CE-S912, and LE-X86_64 devices using the latest stable version (CE 9.2.5 and LE 9.2.6). It is true that sometimes some channels of a certain mux can be seen worse in CE-S912 but this is very specific and disappears after a few days.

I think the problem is not in the video-audio stream. Perhaps the channel is out of service within the mux, to check this, the transmission parameters are necessary (name of the channel, satellite, frequency, polarity, …).

I have CE 9.2.5 non NG build.

My Sat decoder is a GTmedia V8x and i intended to use GTShare functionality that has it’s own Android application called Gtshare.

When i change channel from M3U list GTmedia V8x device changes it’s internal channel so non satellite frequency nor polarity needed i guess

Remember this works ok with Windows and Android Kodi

This is true but GTmedia does not create the audio-video stream but transmits it after tuning (channel, satellite, polarity, …), the same as all tuners do.

Remember that you only have one tuner. If you try to watch two channels of different frequencies simultaneously, it won’t work.

Only works if channels are in the same transponder. i only say that not polarity, sateliten, channel from Kodi Coreelec side, only uris like this: http://192.168.0.21:81/299_0_1156000_22000_0_1_165_110_1029_165_17.ts for example, and gtmedia does the rest

Hi @TheCoolest,

I installed 9.2.5 ng build to my S905x and same issue.

I will keep this NG build because seems more fluid even with ondemand governor

Do you have any idea? I will try to playback usb exported PVR event to see if it works or not

Regards
