Is it possibile to downgrade from CoreELEC 20.0-Nexus to CoreELEC 19.5-Matrix ?

I installed CoreELEC 20.0-Nexus ng version to Hk1 box(s905x3) but I it is not smooth. I want to downgrade to 19.5-Matrix. How can I make it ? Thanks

you can probably do it from CoreElec system options, specifically CoreElec settings:
Upgrade and select /manual/ update channel: CoreElec19.5 / available updates: CoreElec-Matrix … should download this version and install

Or just drop a tar of CE 19 in update folder through samba. Keep fingers crossed and maybe it will be ok. Better way should be a cold install from scratch.

Thans for your warning! I’ll wait for next version and see if resolve my problem.

You could try to restore a Kodi backup from CE 20 over a new fresh install of CE 19. See in the wiki about backup and restore settings. Not a smart thing but you should be able to draw a conclusion. Get a spare SD card and try.
