Is X96MaxPlus (s905x3 32/4) compatible

I am new to this, I have bought this equipment but I do not know if it is compatible, I can not find a dtb with the model. Can someone guide me?

Have you tried sm1_s905x3_4g.dtb?

I also have a X96MaxPlus (32.4). I used sm1_s905x3_4g_1gbit.dtb and it booted fine. Installing, using ceemmc, however did not work: “System is not supported”. I didn’t go try any further: don’t want to brick my device :slight_smile:.

If you read an ceemmc instruction fully then you will see a hint for unsupported devices in the end of it :wink:

Yep, but like I said, I didn’t want to risk it. I’ll just wait till someone else reports success with the X96Max+ :slight_smile:

i have the \ with 4GB ram, 32GB rom, 1Gb ethernet.
i have used the sm1_ac213_4g dtb , got working with a g30s remote and configured vfd.conf for getting time on display

i have not installed internally, only using coreelec on microsd
it’s a great device

I took the plunge (well, not really a plunge after the post in the other thread that Compent pointed out) and installed CE on the emmc of my box. Works fine!
