I have a VIM1 and a Tone Boardand it works perfectly (almost),

If I select XMOS Analog, sound is heard via the analog line out. However, if I switch to XMOS SPDIF no sound is heard via the coaxial input of the sound system but if I switch the sound system to analog, sound is heard. Is this correct?

I think the SPIDF selection switches the output of the card to digital so I would not expect any analogue output from the Tone Board.

Whilst it does play audio (analogue or digital) it is still only 2 channels. I was under the impression that SPDIF/Out (Coax) would support multi channel (5.1) or have I got it totally wrong?
