No KODI support yet.
In my case I use another device(FIIO X3) digital output
To play in KODI i converted to flac, I don’t hear any difference

Hello there,
I am back as I still need to setup a bitstream DSD/dsf player along Kodi.
To answer Galactic, I didn’t succeed to setup the player as my AVR broke down. I tried to fix it but unsuccessfully. So I stopped the project and had no music for long time.
Now I have a Denon AVC-X4800H and a LG TV G4. Unfortunately, my Odroid N2/CoreElec can’t play Dolby Vision. I’ll buy a new player but need to choose the good one, playing HDR10, DV and bitstream DSD/dsf.

To answer Tim_Taylor, Kodi can play DSD but decode it in PCM before sending to amplifier. If you are happy with that you don’t need to convert to flac.
However, purist want direct conversion from DSD to analogue usually done by the AVR or external DAC. And yes, hard to hear the difference.
This is what I want to try again to set up in the new player, so I need to update my info as Galactic said it is not available now.
We are 2 now in the almost same project and I will write what I learn here.

Thats only a workaround, there is no native DSD/DSF support in KODI
I tested a lot in the last years, just for fun.
Maybe some purist audiophile users will hear something.

In my case I´m using Hi-Res flac 24Bit 96KHz/24bit 192kHz
Using headphones(Beyerdynamic T5 + headphone amp) and my new FIIO M11 plus player
