Kodi freezes when shutting down

Hi all, I’ve recently installed CoreElec on my AM6B+ and did all the basic stuff that needs to be adjusted (like some settings, kodi preferences, kodi settings)

And I’ve decided to change the skin of my kodi into Arctic Fuse.
So far everything is running good and intact, but everytime I try to turn off my box. It will take time to shut itself down (~10 secs).
However, most of the time when turning it off, the whole box just freezes and won’t shutdown unless you pull the plug (which annoys me everytime it happens).

I was wondering if its a problem with my system or with the skin/addons installed?

Note: I also tried using Arctic Horizon 2 to see if its just the Fuse skin but it still shutdowns slowly.

the reason: skin/addons

I’d stay away from installing too many add-ons. Seems many of them are not updated properly for Kodi 21 yet and causing all sorts of issues.

For me the worst part is that either a skin or an addon caused audio dropouts to appear on TrueHD tracks in 4K remuxes. I reinstalled latest nightly from scratch and all audio issues are gone again and back to working fine.

Best to keep a clean Kodi install for the time being.
