Link for Coreelec stable generic for S905X5M is broken

I have bough a generic S905X5M device and I was trying to download Coreelec for this device using the download helper in the coreelec webpage. I select Stable, the S905X5M chipset and the ram and Ethernet speed. Then I click Download Image and I go to a broken github link.

The broken link is trying to download the no version but checking the github releases page, the stable 21.3 version doesn’t have the no version available, only ne and ng. The 22.0 alpha3 version does have no.

So the obvious question is what image should I download for my device? I’m guessing it is the no version, since the chipset is quite new. Since there does not seem to be 21.3 no version, is my best option to download 22.0 Alpha3 until a stable version is out? Nightly over alpha3?

Also, the webpage Download Image helper should correct the broken link.

The link is not broken, there just do not any stable exists for CoreELEC-22 yet.

The link is broken, even if there is a logical reason as you stated. I just think it would be better for a “normie” user trying to install CoreElec to not find broken links. It gives a really bad impression.

But regardless, what version should I use for my generic S905X5M device? If it is NO, should I use the 22.0 alpha3 or nightly?

nightly IS 22.0 alpha3, there is no OR

coreelec isn’t really for “normie users” given the relatively complicated way to install it users need to be at least a little bit technical

As there does no release yet exit the download manager forward all new devices under project Amlogic-no directly to latest nightly available.
