Hi,
I have installed the latest 19.3 and since last week also 19.4 on my Odroid C4 board with eMMc memory. Since a couple of month I recognize subsequently missing kodi settings from one day to the next. There was a complete fresh installation in between, so I guess filesystem is fine. The logfile always mentions a corrupted profiles.xml and falls back to master file. However I have no clue how to find the root cause. I always shutdown the system via YATSE remote control from different devices by using the manual keys (not “off” button") or mouse navigation to shutdown the system.
I found the old issues that should have been solved with kodi 19, but nothing newer. Therfore I didint try the autoexcec.py stuff by now.
Is there any idea for example
a) stop system before generating a new profiles.xml to check the file
b) to copy a “standard” xml with cron on reboot into the userdata
c) any other idea?
Funny thing is also that not always all settings are reset, sometimes the remote control settings stay but the language/region settings are lost and sometimes I have to setup everything from scratch.
For sure I can provide logfiles, but they are very big as during the last discussions…
