My X96max WIFI and Bluetooth don't work

Both of you, please reboot the box and post dmesg log.
dmesg | paste

Here is mine, thanks for your effort: http://ix.io/1TTk

Mine here: http://ix.io/1TUa
Thanks a lot for checking.

@felixwolf I found the problem with BT issue with your box. Looks like it’s the same problem some VIM1 users reported. Hopefully it’ll be fixed in the next nightly build. Please update to it and let me know.

@Vapor Can you post the output for this?
udevadm info /sys/bus/sdio/devices/sdio* | paste

@TheCoolest Here is: http://ix.io/1TUw

Just upgraded to this version, but still can’t find the bluetooth adapter

http://ix.io/1TX4

Can you run udevadm info /sys/bus/sdio/devices/sdio* | paste in this build?

http://ix.io/1TXz

Thanks for the answer.
Meantime: updated to last nightly, and bluetooth is back  … but… now there is no way to trust and connect my two (infamous) Shanwan “Sony PLAYSTATION®3 Controller” clones :frowning: .
They never worked with my old s805 (with libreelec/armbian/lakka: driver issue), but they actually did with s912/Corelec (up to recent nightly builds).
I tried to connect them by usb cable (and they are actually recognized, and can be configure as wired controller), then to trust and connect wireless, both by Kodi gui or ssh (following this and/or this procedure. They keep on blinking, but do not connect…

A fix for some BT devices on 3.14 kernel was pushed yesterday. Try today’s build on your S912, maybe the BT will start working again.
Not sure why it’s not connecting to your controllers, do other devices work?

Yes, thanks: already updated, and bluetooth is working (internal adapter is found)

Yes, bluetooth speaker can connect and works normally.
There was a driver problem with my Shanwan controllers, which has never been solved in the ancient kernel (3.10?) used by aml s805, and prevented them to be used wirelessly.
Apparently, the same behavior is now happening with s912. I could be wrong, of course, but I think I’ve already tried all the trust/connect procedures which previously worked…

Thanks anyway.

Hello @TheCoolest
I’ve update my box the the 20190902 Nightly but still “No Bluetooth device found”
There any hope the get RTL8723BS working on CoreELEC? I found some stuff in this forum that maybe is helpful. https://forum.manjaro.org/t/bluetooth-not-working-with-rtl8723bs-bt/51906/10

Thanks!

my x96max with 20190904ng .The BT is OK now.

My Bluetooth not working yet, the firmware of the rtl8723bs are present and the program hciattach also. I execute this command but I don’t understand why get ERROR
