I have a problem. Whenever I restart my Minix Neo U1 Player, the network folders are gone. I have to add them every time. I use the current image “9.0.1”. Can someone help me? Thank you very much.
How are you adding them? This sounds like a Kodi problem, not CE problem.
This actually seems to be a Kodi 18.1 problem. After every restart the media sources are lost. My Synology NAS is connected through SMB as normal. Via “Add Videos” I have to add my folders every time. It’s frustrating. Does anyone else have this problem?
I use Synology NAS too and I don’t have such issue. Have you changed Samba client configuration anyway?
I did not change the configuration of the Samba client. What kind of change can I make? I also use an SQL database and have the “advancedsettings.xml” in the “userdata” folder stored. Maybe it has something to do with it. With Kodi 17.X everything worked perfectly.
Maybe Kodi just doesn’t save config to a file on exit/reboot? I have this problem in the past with some other setting but forgot how I fix it.
