Looking for the update folder in EMMC, any ideas?

Its a kernel panic so i doubt it will ever get to checking the update folder.

Shoog

Success: booted with microSD, copied CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-9.2.0.tar to backup folder on microsd running corelec. Used putty to access coreelec and copied the .tar to var/media/STORAGE/.update.
Removed micro sd and booted EMMC, updated in boot and booted up nicely to stable 9.2.0

Agreed. Not sure why the update isn’t pulled. Pull it till a fix is confirmed.

It’s pulled. You can see that the latest nightly available is from November first.

sorry, but how do I restore it on Odroid N2, the instructions are too fuzzy for me.
CE is running on the sd card but looping cause of the faulty nightly.

it’s an img file, I’m not having luck extracting it so far.

Use the .tar file, not .img.gz

7zip did it. Don’t I need the one that is specific to N2 (which is img)
CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-9.2-nightly_20191101.tar – this one will do?

Yes, that’s the one you need.

TheCoolest I see SYSTEM and KERNEL on the tar but the mSD has a file called KERNEL.img not just KERNEL.
Do I need to rename it or delete the kernel.img?

rename KERNEL to kernel.img and copy it to sd card

thanks. fixed now.

Is that happened?

Really? Where it is?

Pop up when you power reboot after nightly update file loaded.

Nowhere.

Yes.

Hi mates, I saw on sale the magicsee N5 max with s905x3 cpu. Is the nightly next generation build ready to run with the next one generation cpu?? Thanks in advance, regards

S905*3 SoCs are work in progress, support for them isn’t in the nightly builds yet.
