I have this same problem with X96 mini-S905W 1G+8G,using dtb gxl_p281_1g
Can see wifi networks, but it does not connect–continues to say “idle” Now the problem is confounded by the issue that Amlogic-ng v 19.5 appears to be no longer available for download. I have tried building v19 from the github source, but that fails on Debian Bookworm.
