ODROID-C4 - aarch64 binaries

Hi,

Is there any plan to use aarch64 binaries for ODROID-C4?

Best regards.

CE-21 NE - not for C4
CE-22 NO

This is not ok?

???

On the downloads i see:
Amlogic-ne devices - have aarch64 binaries
Amlogic-ng devices - have arm (32 bit) binaries

ODROID-C4 is Amlogic-ng.

So my question is if there is any plan to support aarch64 binaries also for Amlogic-ng devices. The kernel is already aarch64, why not have the userland binaries aarch64 as well? Is there any technical block for Amlogic-ng devices?

All focus is on CE-22 NO. Therefore no, there are zero plans for NG.

And sorry about I didn’t look for correct device under CE-21.

Also the question is why do you need aarch64 binaries. It works fine with arm32.

Well, i’m struggling with libwidevinecdm.so in 32 bits, i’ve tried several versions and none work:

odroidc4:~/.kodi/cdm # ldd libwidevinecdm.so
./libwidevinecdm.so: error while loading shared libraries: ./libwidevinecdm.so: DT_RELR without GLIBC_ABI_DT_RELR dependency

On my RPI4 i have LibreELEC 12 (aarch64) and libwidevinecdm.so works fine.

I also see recently that LibreELEC 12 has aarch64 version for ODROID-C4, so if there is no plan to support aarch64 for on CoreELEC for ODROID-C4, i guess i will need to move back to LibreELEC because i need DRM encrypted streams working.

Thank you.

The C4 is supported under CE-NO 22 (aarch64), try the latest nightly.

Thank you, i will give it a try.
