I’m from Australia and my ISP has blacklisted Opensubtitles. The only way I can access their site is by turning on my VPN. On my Wetek Play2 I can watch a movie and download the subtitles from Opensubtitles only when I have the Android VPN app (Torguard) running.
I installed Coreelec to an SD card and sideloaded it on the Wetek. Everything works apart from Opensubtitles. I installed OpenVPN and the relevant Torguard files. Established (and verified) the connection but I get an error from Opensubtitles with no real specific detail on why.
Can anyone help with this?
