I am currently using a Toshiba TV model 32L1600C. The sound quality of the speakers is unsatisfactory at present, and I need to optimize it to at least improve it compared to the Android system.
Hello CoreELEC developers, I just checked the ALSA driver and found that the latest version is 1.2.11. I hope you can update to the latest version as soon as possible. Currently, I am using the CoreELEC-NG stable version. If it has already been upgraded to version 1.2.11 (I am referring to the nightly build), please ignore this message.
You are wrong, latest is 1.2.14.
Please place your request there:
Thanks. Looking forward to the release of the stable version of coreelec-ng 21.3.
I doubt alsa will be bumped there from 1.2.11
to something newer.
# Method 1: Check the kernel ALSA driver version
cat /proc/asound/version
# Method 2: Check the user space library version
alsactl --version
# Method 3: Display detailed component information
opkg list-installed | grep alsa
You can query via the above methods. Wait for the ng21.3 version and then check whether it is the latest version.
As a Hardware fix Plug in set of Edifiers (plugin or bluetooth.)
I use these on one of my TV’s to improve the speaker quality.
I have purchased 2 sets 2nd hand off facebook marketplace.
To optimize the sound quality of the built-in TV speaker, the combination of CE-NG and S905X4-J can provide a “detail restoration type” improvement, but it is necessary to set the audio parameters reasonably. Could friends who know about this kindly tell me how to set them? Thank you very much.
