Player led DV configurable?

I’m planning on getting an Ugoos AM6B+, and I have a Sony X950H TV.
The TV supports LLDV / Player led Dolby Vision but not TV led Dolby Vision.

From what I understand, I will have to enable Player Led DV in the Kodi settings. Is there a way to configure the capabilities / specifics of my TV somewhere so the player actually knows for which screen it’s processing / tone mapping?

Or will Kodi always fall back to a specific default which, I assume, will look worse ?

You don’t have to configure anything, only DV mode to player-led/LLDV. Everything else DV-related will be read out from EDID and taken into account during tonemapping (have the same-ish X950G TV and no issues).
