I used NO because of issues with NG and mpeg2 encoding, but NO together with plexkodiconnect won‘t show MOVIES.
Long story short I installed NE today for my S905x4 Tanix4 box which unfortunately doesn’t come with bluetooth. Thought I could use the TP-Link UB400 that is the one recommended bluetooth stick, that worked fine with NO, but it’s not recognized in NE.
Any ideas or suggestions what I could try? I need bluetooth for my harmony remote to work properly.
He’s right though supporting a new version takes time and that is exactly why a small team like CE needs to focus priority on being ready for a stable version as Piers progress and freeze development on old stable versions which means not trying and backport all changes some of which are kernel based an may not be possible Nothing is stopping other developers from doing it except for find the developers.
Unfortunately there is. I said i tried NO, but it’s not working with plexkodiconnect. And with each nightly it works or works not. Never 100% perfect, but it did work. So w/o knowing anything about code and internals it SEEMS to me that it’s code changes in coreelec that cause this, as the addon did not change at all.
That’s why i‘m asking. But all i hear is: debug yourself. I wouldn’t come here if I could.
That’s why I switched to NE again just to find that the BT that everyone recommends and was working fine doesn’t seem to work, and I was seeking for some advise if this is a known issue, or if I may have done anything wrong.
I could stop using coreelec at all of course. That would solve the symptoms but not the issue.
You think that CE is some multicorporation or what? And there is a track of every single BT or any other dongle?
My point is that support for such devices comes and go. Something which worked on NG/NE maybe doesn’t work anymore on NO. And what works on NO doesn’t work on NG/NE. Impossible to track.
Of course code changed. And addon must also be changed.
Support for Kodi 21 Omega, Kodi 20 Nexus, Kodi 19 Matrix
Kodi 18 Leia is supported up until PKC version 3.10.7
Preliminary support for Kodi 22 Piers. Keep in mind that Piers is still in early alpha version
This is your issue.
CE does not maintain or write add-ons. So you need to open a issue at authors repo.
