Programming Sony TV Remote

Hello Forum,

I’m trying to remote control my robot through IR with a Sony remote control I found in my house (Sony Remote model number RM-Y168). It responds when I press buttons. But when I click on CH+/CH- and VOL+/VOL- as it says in the book for directional control, it doesn’t do anything, my wiring is correct and so is my code. So what could be my problem?

I think you’re on the wrong forum. This is for CoreELEC not for robots and Sony remote controls.
