Good evening guys, sorry if I repeat myself but I can’t use more VNC to use my CoreELEC remotely, in practice it only works with the TV on, if I turn off the TV and restart the system remains in standby and I see the black screen on VNC on PC remotely, I turn on the TV, the system starts up and VCN runs regularly on the PC remotely, maybe there is some parameter to start CoreELEC even with the TV off. Thank you.
You can try the following.
- Turn on the TV.
- Reboot CE, and make sure that VNC is working.
- SSH into the box and type in the following command:
cp /sys/devices/virtual/amhdmitx/amhdmitx0/disp_cap /storage/.kodi/userdata/ - Turn off TV and reboot CE.
- Try to VNC and see if it works.
This should work, but not guaranteed. And this may not work correctly if you move this box from one TV to another. If you move it, you may have to delete the disp_cap file from /storage/.kodi/userdata/.
