Hi, I have the 1st version of the remote which is also used on KVIM1
its also working on LE9
on KVIM 2 3gb ,I installed nightly_20190510 device tree gxm_kvim2
and the remote never worked.
can you please help me to make it work?

Login: root
Password: coreelec
Command: echo āmeson-ir * kvimā > /storage/.config/rc_maps.cfg
Reboot by typing the command: reboot

What @erbas suggests is correct, but if you have a KVIM 1 remote, then instead of meecol, type in kvim

Pls read carefully @erbas post, right command is:
echo "meson-ir * kvim" > /storage/.config/rc_maps.cfg
and for VTV board RC:
echo "meson-ir * kvim2" > /storage/.config/rc_maps.cfg

Hi, today I noticed that my VIM1 remote can control tronsmart MXIII Plus amlogic 812 /2GB /16gb, Amkogic Meson8)
which I have libreelec S8X2.arm installed on it.
My question is: can the tronsmartās remote control my KVIM1?
the extra remote keyboards can be useful for kodi.
If possibe? what is the syntax for the SSH to apply that?
You can use almost any remote under CE just need to create (or download) the right remote.conf file for it.
Check the help section of the forum for more detail.
