Here is a corrected remote .hwdb file for the BT uGoos X4Q box UR01_BLE remote. This is simply an edited version of the UR01_BLE.hwdb file in the repository but with the added line KEYBOARD_KEY_c0040=c which enables the Menu button which was not working before. I tried =menu but this did not work so used the normal =c which works fine.

Yes I did use the file form the remote repo for BT for this uGoos remote but the menu button was definitely not working for me or for some friends too. Duh I have forgotten about the long push of the OK button.

Here is the remote.conf and picture for the Minix Neo U1. I have just tested this and it works great. There are various Minix devices in AmRemote folder but not the U1.

A friend of mine has given to me his Ugoos X4Q Extra with UR01 remote. Can pls someone link the conf. file for this remote? I have checked but cannot find it. Thank you for help.
Have you tried BT mode? I have it paired with my X4Q extra for ages and didn’t have to worry with repair or any other stuff sometimes BT remotes bring

I have problems with VC1 files they do not play at all. Is there something that must be done? Thank you for help and happy that we share the same device.
Let me check on my side. VC1 is always a bit problematic.
