Rewind and skip method don't work for many SD (not HD) video files

If the video container was correct, then CE will not show problems, IMO.

@yurmala, I have a problem with this video on CE and on windows kodi 18 with sound, in MPC-HC I see slow motion video. Container is broken.
This is not CE issue.
If you are sure this video is correct, than try current Kodi 18 build on PC and if you have the same issue than complain on kodi forum/trac. May be they can fix.

I gotta say, good catch @yurmala

I noticed CE was updated to .5 and while messing around testing stuff i particularly paid attention to your findings.

There’s certainly issues with skipping/seek behaviour with (some) files (whitin a container?) in latest Kodi alphas. Most noticable in pvr streams (.ts) for me. Forget skipping through livetv timeshift buffer. I will just show a frozen screen.

This has to be reported over at kodi dot tv.
I will try and produce some logs showing the behaviour and post them so whatever upcoming beta might behave better :wink:
