Hi guys, I’m having issues with the DVB-T tuner on my box, it doesn’t work. I’ve been trying with several DTBs with no luck, if the tuner appears in TVheadend is impossible to find services in muxes (0%signal) and in coreelec I saw i2c errors.

My coreelec version is nightly-20200205, but I already tried with stable 9.2.1 too.

These have been my tests (I have dmesg output of all of them but I cannot paste links due a new user limitation):

gxl_p230_2g.dtb -> Wifi/BT working, ethernet not working

  • Default drivers: No adapter shown in TVheadend.
  • Latest kernel drivers: No adapter shown in TVheadend.
  • Crazycat drivers: No adapter shown in TVheadend.

gxl_p230_k1_pro.dtb -> Wifi/BT working, ethernet not working

  • Default drivers: No adapter shown in TVheadend,
  • Latest kernel drivers: Adapter appears in TVheadend.
  • Crazycat drivers: Adapter appears in TVheadend.

gxl_p230_k1_pro_ser.dtb -> Wifi/BT working, ethernet not working

  • Default drivers: No adapter shown in TVheadend,
  • Latest kernel drivers: No adapter shown in TVheadend.
  • Crazycat drivers: Adapter appears in TVheadend.

gxl_p231_2g_dvb.dtb -> Wifi, BT and ethernet working well

  • Default drivers: No adapter shown in TVheadend,
  • Latest kernel drivers: No adapter shown in TVheadend.
  • Crazycat drivers: No adapter shown in TVheadend.

gxl_p231_2g_dvb_ser.dtb -> Wifi, BT and ethernet working well

  • Default drivers: No adapter shown in TVheadend,
  • Latest kernel drivers: Adapter appears in TVheadend.
  • Crazycat drivers: Adapter appears in TVheadend.

gxl_p231_c300.dtb -> Wifi, BT and ethernet working well

  • Default drivers: No adapter shown in TVheadend,
  • Latest kernel drivers: No adapter shown in TVheadend.
  • Crazycat drivers: No adapter shown in TVheadend.

If dmesg output or another command of some of them is needed I can send them individually.

Welcome to our forum.

Unfortunately the Dev (Afl) who knows everything there is to know about Tuners is currently on long term leave with no time known for his return.
The current Devs have been testing and tried to resolve issues with internal Tuners but have not had much success.
So it’s a case of wait and see.

Oh, what a bad news, I’ve been reading Afl in older posts. I hope all is well for him.

I’ve been researching on my own and have made some progress compiling my own modified dtb, but it still not working.

Maybe I can get some help from your devs, I can even send you some test units.
