I found r848 driver here: GitHub - tbsdtv/linux_media: TBS linux open source drivers, I have no idea if it will work, but worth trying. I added it to AVL6862 addon, install it:

this means that the tuner tuned successfully to DVB-S2 channel (delivery_system=6), so the tuner driver seems ok.
Now the question is, does the demod is able to receive signal. So You need to do a manual scan like this:

run dvbv5-scan -l help for possible LNBf_type values. I am not familiar with DVB-S since I do not have any DVB-S hardware. But paste here the output of scan command.
You noticed in his last attempt the demod identified as 6862 and identified before as 6762?

Iām not familiar with DVBScan. How do I add these search parameters to dvbv5 diseqc port 2 (AB).
In the dmesg demod identified as AVL6862 in both cases. The name in tvheadend is different due to configuration change to support DVB-S. So this is OK.

so try this:
dvbv5-scan -l UNIVERSAL channels.conf
for channels.conf content look into .kodi/addons/service.tvheadend43/dvb-scan/dvb-s/ folder. Files in this folder contains definitions of channels to scan. So just pick one definition of CHANNEL and put it into channels.conf. Ofcource values for each configuration variable should be set correctly according to your needs.
I see this in your tvheadend log
11026.1V so frequency is 11026.1 and polarisation vertical. I ses one file with this frequency and its definition is:

Are those settings corrrect for your case ? The same settings are accessible in tvheadend mux configuration window.
The mecool K5 Coreelec TVheadend found all DVB-C channels. It streamed VLC with TVheadend. Thereās no problem with the DVB-C section. Iām receiving a DVB-C signal with the switchboard distributor. TVheadend returns a scan no data error for DVB-S/S2 transponders. The adapter appears correct in TVheadend, and Iām searching for active TPs, but the results remain the same. The satellite signal isnāt coming directly. Since it needs to be selected via the DISEQ signal, if the DISEQ signal isnāt being sent correctly in the software, the switchboard may be reporting no signal because Port AB isnāt opening. Or, the R848 tuner may be misreading the software DVB-S I2C connection. Iāll do more testing.

Iām not sure what it means but I assume it means that the tuner is able to receive correct DVB-S signal.
And it is easy to test my theory, just disconnect the cable and repeat scan, if You get Tuner not Locked! in the dmesg then we know that the signal is correctly received by the tuner when it reports Tuner Locked.

The DVB section of the Mecool K5 is now working. I manually added a DVB-S2 TP whose signal I knew, and it detected all TPs with a nit scan. TVheadend sent and broadcast the 4K TV channel via Ethernet to TVHClient without any problems. In short, DVB-S/S2 works. Of course, DVB-C also works perfectly.

Thereās still a GPIO error, but itās not a major issue. It can be fixed with DTS. Also, not all S905x3-based boards can read the high-speed Class 10 SD card FAT partition. This is likely due to the stock U-Boot being too slow to read it.

The dts file in mecool k5 can be added to common_drivers. DVB, LAN, Wi-Fi, and others work. Only dmesg errors are present. I donāt know if this is important or not.

There is no configuration for sys_led in generic dts, i will add this.
If You reffering to:
dvb power gpio invalid
then this is not an error, it is just saying that the gpio for demod power control is not configured. It is not clear for me which gpio if any is for power control. If it works then it means that it is not required to control this gpio ![]()
You mean error in u-boot logs regarding emmc/sd ? I did not see any errors in dmesg
actually there is, the led is nofigured to GPIOAO_11. so it means that the led is on different GPIO. I need android device tree for mecool k5, can you provide it ?
Or maybe it has different polarity, try this:

The mecool K5 works very well with Android 13.2 ATV (Vitmod) software. Developer Vitaly compiled Enigma 2 and Neutrino software into Android APKs, and these apps run perfectly on Android 13.2 as DVB software. It also has Openpli 8.0 as SDcard software, making it a good option for those who want to use raw Enigma 2. Iām providing the links. Your RS6060 driver might work.
Older GXBB and GXL devices work with Class 10 SD cards. S905x3 devices canāt read the fat portion of Class 10 SD cards. Therefore, I use either a USB or a low-speed SD card. Is it possible to reduce the read speed with uboot commands or DTS? I think the kernel adjusts the speed after the system boots. I understand the other parts. Iāll try the LED part.
DTS changes will only affect linux, not u-boot. DTS needs to be first read from SD card by u-boot ![]()
I did not see any errors regarding SD card in linux, but for sure You can change the speed somehow - I donāt know exactly how.
