[S922X] Ugoos AM6(+), Help & Support

I have two outputs on mine. I’ll give it a try tonight.

Tried the two output method. It doesn’t sync with tv led on. Have output one from my denon avr 6300 going directly to the tv and output 2 going to the hue sync box. And FEL dovi movie I get no sync.

Did you enable hue dolby vision enhanced compatibility

sorry for this silly question, how do I know my device is capable of FEL, I mean if play a movie DV P7 what’s the option that select to know FEL works?

The Dolby Vision output is set to lossless and you don’t get a black screen.

thank you.

will ugoos am6+ support TV-Led? My TV is LG 83G4. if yes should I change any settings or any recommends will appreciate it.

Change Dolby Vision Compatibility Mode to Lossless. I would also enable the Whitelist setting.

what should I select in the whitelist? The resolution should be 3840 or 1080 also, refresh rate what should I select? what about tv led? will my tv above model support it with ugoos am6+?

I attempted an update from an earlier ng nightly to the last 21.1-ng nightly doing the “toothpick” method. I did see the android logo with updating and then just a cycling of the AMLOGIC S922X logo but no CoreELEC logo. What do I do to fix this please?

I’m a very stupid man. There was an additional “.dtb” extension on the file name that I removed - so…do I just put the CE boot drive back in and power it on or do I need to do the reset/power again?

Just put it back in. There is an easier way to manually update:

https://wiki.coreelec.org/coreelec:updates

Basically, put the update .tar into you .update folder in ./storage or use the automatic updater.

is auto-update for nightly only or stable?

I’m using it for nightly.

Thank-you very much for your help!

Except I still cannot “connect” to any repositories or add any addons in the latest nightly on expert with allow unknown sources, etc. Are addons only available in stable?

NO, they should be available to all versions…

I’m at my wit’s end here.

Start from scratch, read the FAQ etc.

I’ve done that twice - following the the FAQ word-for-word. Could it be something with the eMMC-installed Android?

No.
Do You understand the FAQ ?
