Hi guys. I have CE installed as well as android on my am6b plus. I want to know how I could change the boot order to boot android by default? I mostly use the android environment and only boot to CE when I want to watch a movie. Thanks!
Use CE on external media and only insert when need, there is no other option.
I’ve already got it installed in a dual boot scenario. I just want to boot android as default, I don’t want to get up and walk to the Ugoos in order to pull out installation media just so I can reboot.
Boot to Coreelec - Go to Power and select Reboot to eemc
This will boot Android only once. On next reboot CE will be back.
Yes I got that part, the whole thing I was wanting to avoid was booting to CoreElec then having to push reboot to nand and waiting for another boot cycle. It would be nicer if i could set android as the default and select boot to CoreElec whenever it was required rather than by default.
I ended up installing the factory Ugoos DCE firmware again, then updating the CE version to the latest T4 CPM build with the dovi.ko file and hey presto, I’ve got android booting by default with an incorporated boot to CoreElec button built into the power menu. Works a treat!
