Just found out, testing some other things, and playing any .mkv files, that CC subtitles don’t save ON position in Subtitles/Subtitle settings or in Settings/Subtitle settings. Selecting in both places to ON, and saving “Set as default for all media” does not help. After stopping and starting the video again -> there are no CC subtitles, and both settings are OFF.
It does not change anything if in General Settings/Player/Language “Enable parsing for closed captions” is set to ON or OFF.
Don’t know if it’s just some settings on my X92_S912 box on CE v8.99.x, or a Kodi thing.
For all external subtitles this works as it should…
