Show hidden files and folders

I’ve just tried the latest CE nightly and I’m impressed but there doesn’t seem to be an option to display hidden files and folders (files with a dot prefix) in the file manager? Kodi has an option to show hidden files and folders.

Maybe I need to install an Add on or do I need to open a feature request for this?

First go to Kodi/Settings/Media and in the bottom of left column press twice on cogwheel to change from “Normal” to “Expert” mode. Then in same window on the left row choose “General” . On the right pane you’ll see options to Show hidden files and directories, and Allow file renaming and deletion. Select both for total file control…

Thanks Sholander!

I hadn’t tried clicking on the cogwheel on the Media Settings page which is why it was evading me.
