SoC S5 S928X

Addiction is a horrible thing. Been purchasing these boxes/sticks for almost 15 years.

Okay
I still do not grasp this TV LED vs Player LED
Argument

Also are you referring to Amlogic Fake TV Led
That was discussed earlier this year in another thread ?

And has carried over with the Amlogic S928X-J SoC

Thats unfortunate (suks)

Maybe go back to the Drawing Board
Start anew

X96mini.com has official Firmware
They have new releases from August 4th

SDCard OTA Version
And UBT img Version

Update Android
Test CoreELEC on external media

See if have new/ better results

I trust that my (high end) TV knows better how to process the metadata in DoVi, that’s pretty much the reason I prefer TV led.

Only recently Testing latest Nightly. NE , on X10 PRO 8/64 version.
From your post you have 4/32 working.

In
Settings
System
CoreELEC/Settings
Hardware/Display

There is option to
Dump display EDID

What is this function?
Is there a tutorial/info ?

Is it exclusive to .NE Kernel

@freddy: Does DV content still hang on the X96 X10 PRO?

@Portisch
Will the new S928 devices also get an dtb.img with visible cpu caches?
Currently, it looks like coreelec does not yet recognize the Cortex-A76 completely, but it is used.

I also noticed that when watching you tube a trailer for a movie, green bars and distortion appeared.

Hello, I bought a x96 x10 pro and I wanted to ask you if you know the vfd file to be able to make the screen work?

Hello, thank you very much for the vfd, now I am looking for the remote.conf but it is not on github either or I cannot find it, can you give me the remote.conf so that the remote works? I’m using a translator, sorry for the inconvenience

Still can’t pass trueHD and DTSHD through TV

Ugoos AM8 —> E-arc TV
Release coreELEC nightly : 2024/10/17
Release Ugoos : 1.3.9
Kodi : 21.1.1
The problem doesn’t exist on Android

Is there any intention to fix this issue in the future ? Thanks

Have you checked the audio output settings in Kodi, through System then audio. I had the same issue but I don’t have a sound system, it was set to the default settings and I changed it to HDMI multi ch and it worked like a charm.

I’m having a weird issue here, I can’t really connect anything to Bluetooth unless it’s less than a meter away from the box. I tried pairing the UR02 Remote, the Sony WH-1000XM5, and both didn’t work.
Is there is any solution to this weird problem?

Thanks for everything you’re doing guys

Make sure antennae is screwed in

I checked all settings and the problem still exists, on android it works perfectly, the problem is only with coreelec

Bluetooth doesn’t work for everyone. It seems that the developers haven’t had time to fix it yet. Hopefully all the issues will be fixed soon.

For now, the coreelec experience is not comfortable for me and I will continue to use Android until developer support is complete.

Make a debug log while play a short media. Enable kodi debug!

TrueHD and DTS-MA does work fine in passthrough mode on CE.
Android maybe don’t use passthrough, they maybe use Multi-PCM.

Thanks for your quick response, I will get back to you soon once it is finished.

Passthrough works with Android and the TV info window shows trueHD.

Did you explicit enable TrueHD passthrough?
No log, no problem…
