I just downloaded your video file to the Downloads FOLDER on both my H96 Pro S905X Dongle running 9.2.0 and my VIM3 Pro running Nightly.

I played back the video file and it played fine on both.

You need to disclose more info on your hardware set up and OS versions.

I agree with you, I also watched the video without problems (KIII Pro Amlogic S912)

@kostaman @cubimol would you play it more times? I played it on C2(9.2.0) and vim3 basic(20191019nightbuild) ,both crashed.

I played it 3 times on my N2 (2GB) without any problem with 1019 nightly.
Make a fresh install without any addon and try it again.

OK, I will make a fresh install tomorrow and play it again.

I have watched the video three times from the internal memory (my default CoreELEC installation), three times from my external USB hard drive, and three times from my network storage via Samba. No problem!

OK, thanks,in my case it crashed everytime between 30s-60s, I will check it again tomorrow.

The only explanation I can think of, is a problem with the speed of reading/writing your flash drive, check in SSH with a stopwatch the download/upload time of a large file, for example, 500 MB from a PC.

confirmed, fresh install and playback this test video will not crash. thanks for help, I will hunt down what setup or addon caused this issue.

@Pelican @kostaman @cubimol
Finally, I find the key caused the crash .If you enable parsing for closed captions in settings-Player-language, then the crash will happen, disable it then playback just fine.
So if you interesting ,try it.

Please test it in Kodi on Windows\Linux\Android and see if this is reproduced there.
If it’s reproduced, you need to report an issue at Kodi.

I tested it in android and Windows, no this issue.
