Suspend n2 with remote control

Is it possible to suspend my n2 with an ir remote control?

I tried assigning KEY_SUSPEND to an unused button on my remote but it does not do anything. I tried KEY_SLEEP but it does something other than suspend.

Any ideas?

I successfully can suspend the N2 with my remote when setting:

Settings->System->Power saving->Shutdown function to “suspend”

However, I can’t turn it on again with the remote. It works when set to shutdown but not when suspended.

I once read that remote wakeup from suspend would need a change in the N2’s bootloader. Is it possible in the meantime?

Any help is welcome.
